Sensing death before it happens

I also feel death before it happens, at first I thought I sensed death in my family only, but now I also feel it with friends too. I start feeling very afraid of death, I can’t sleep and wake up in the middle of the night, and then it happens.  I also dream things that happen in the future, family things for now. I am not depressed either. This is real. I guess we are open beings, that’s why we sense it.

I think all living creatures are open to this.Its too much for most people to come to terms with so become sceptical and live in denial,thinking they are above these ancient forces.I like being open to the paranormal,it makes life very interesting.

Hi there and welcome to UM. Feeling afraid of death, no no no, my friend. However you pray or connect or simply spend quiet time with yourself, ask to be shown, ask to be taught so you understand what your gifts really are better and don't have to deal in fear about them. Fear is simply not knowing, and IF you are carrying a gift, you also are carrying competence with it, if you do the work. Ask your escort/spirits/guides/God/higher self to be taught. Then, listen to what you get.

I don't know what I have is death sensing but whatever it is I don't really like it. My little ability(s) have started when I was in the first grade. I started to get sleep paralysis quite often and I mostly end up dying in them. I even had a dream of a folk tail that I never heard before called " taliypo". I get dreams of the future and the past. But there always so horrifying to my. So I told my mother about everything and she told me that it's genetic. It does feel like a curse though. Because when I was in highschool in my special Ed class. I was in my moody part in my life and got upset with the special Ed helper. So I said in my head she'll die when I'm in college. Then on February I was in college at this time and got a Facebook message from my special Ed teacher saying that her helper died. To this day I can't help but feel like it's my fault some how. I feel like I'm just going crazy, maybe I am. I do try to shove it out of existence but it always comes back. The dreams, reading people's thoughts, the vibe feeling people's death approaching. All of this I'm typing might not make sense because it's 3 am and all. But that's pretty much what my cursed gift has brought in my life.

I feel bad for anyone experiencing dark emotions.  I have dreams of the death-but its from the dying ones point of view. But I'm never able to tell my age race sex or names or location. The 3rd time it happens i usually get to watch from the ceiling so i see me and I'll hear my names or personally know the person. Often times when i wake at the end of the 3rd time its the exact time of death. But its always spot on for when how where what ect. 

One of my father's friend's she suggested wearing stones or crystals or both to strengthen and clarify incoming & out going messages  then when 3rd eye & psi muscles are stronger train them for blocking unwanted stuff unknown people ect. 

Lapis mixed with Maliakite (?sp) and Sodalite or crystalite or both are good for that.

Should I sign myself into the nearest mental ward. Am I nuts...I dont understand this and have noone to help me understand what is wrong with me. I have seen things in my sleep. My dreams are never black and white though doctors believe we dream in black and white I dont. I seen everything in full detail. I dreamt of the third plane going down in New York as well as multiple train crashes. Recently I dreamnt of our country getting hit by there own missles. PLease don't judge me. I don't confide cause i dont fit in as is and I dont want to be deemed as a fruit cake by the ones i love. On the upside I always know when someone close to me is pregnant before they do. It doesn't always happen but for the most part I can tell without knowledge. thats the only upside. I just need some direction. I dont claim to be a physchic because I honestly never met a true one. Trust me I have had many readings ect. Only once did i meet a person who stated I was in fact cursed..Thank you for taking the time to read this

I asked myself the same question too since I was little. However I never have seen ghost but I have always been able to sense negative energy vs positive energy. When a person possess negative energy toward me I can tell, I don't know if that's because I am an empath. It's absolutely OKAY to feel this way. Like I said you are not alone, I have dealt with this and still dealing with it. How you started explaining that you feel dramatically off, this feeling of emptiness and darkness comes over you, you feel like you are a totally different person. I am usually a positive person, love being happy and always joking around, but when this kind of things happen I shut down. I see dark shadow sometimes appear (and I blame it on "my subconscious mind"), and I can sometimes feel specifically what gender, what age of a person is gonna die(because I feel that one of my family member or closed ones will die, or I am going to lose them, and then I hear about a similar family member of someone else passing away). When I feel the loss of someone I can also tell by the way I get these intense emotions that just like you had said if it's gonna be more than one person. Then right after those feelings come over me I hear about someone's death. It can sometimes be a total stranger too but that news will find a way to come to me. Most people may say they are co-incidences, but after dealing with it a while you know what it is. Also I dream in colors, everything you are describing is exactly what I have been going through.

Now people that says you need to go see counselor and all that it's not the fault of their own. They were taught by the society to define people, to jump to conclusion just because they hear word like "ghost, depression."In today's world we rely on internet for answers and everything that has been proven by science that we forget this world is a mystical world itself. There are phenomena that even scientists can't answer. Doctors will say "chemical imbalance" hence you feel what you feel or see what you see. They try to define everything so there will be no such thing as "unheard, unknown, mystery". People aren't acceptive toward something they can not define hence people will criticize you. Also, scientists do talk about sixth sense and most people tend to forget that.

As far as what to do, I have found my best friend and my boyfriend/(bestest friend) who understands me and believes me. I don't need a counselor but sometimes these feelings can be overwhelming so it's very important to be surrounded by supportive people. It's hard to deal with something like this on your own, and if you are not with someone who understands they will judge you and say "you need help!" Other than that, when I feel these things I don't know if you believe in God, but I pray a lot, and take him to help me through this. Also maintaining daily dream journals, or perhaps journals (or blog), surround yourself with calm environment, something that will take away your mind off of this. Watching Netflix, binging on a show, or spending quality time with my family helps me calm my nerves. Also I would say spend time to really know yourself. Own this speciality that you have although it may feel like its a curse (I went through similar feelings, and blamed myself for some of these).

If you spend time really evolving yourself you will find out you are able to tell good things as its going to happen to, and recently I have been evolving to be able to tell if something good is going to happen (it's still a 50/50 hit or miss but I am working on it. For example, my bf lost his job (felt that too) but I felt a sense of relief when I heard it because I felt something good was coming his way, after several months of failure, suddenly it came to me the name of the company (it was good feeling compared to the emptiness we feel), but the company is hard for anyone to get in, but he applied and got in right away, which was exciting. Also two of my other friends I was able to tell when they got pregnant, it was about 1-3 wks and they still hadn't shared with anyone or anything but when I asked them specifically they knew somehow I am able to tell when things happen).  

You too sound like an empath, and empaths are sensitive to everything, lights/sounds, detail oriented, and they feel emotions intensively. Often times empaths have better sixth sense and they are able to utilize their sixth sense better than others.

For one the person you quoted hasn't been around in ages. Next is that empathy is a normal human function that is caused by mirror neurons in the brain. So calling yourself an empath is nothing special, it's not psychic either. As for the rest. Some people get sensory overload.

When that happens it is best to appreciate you are more psychic than empathic. Keep evolving yourself. Find supportive people like your boy friend and just ignore those who are not encouraging you.

From the quote which I just read from the poster you were quoting, you can blatantly see he/she was guessing, either it be with an educated guess or just a guess. Don't forget being empathetic isnt a super power it's what, us humans and other species, use to see emotions. Literally by looking at them or by hearing them, them being ie, someone being sad cause their relative recently passed.

As for evolving, it's a natural process as of which, science allowing, takes a very long time to take in affect. It happens in a daily basis and through generations.

I dont know this is true, but I like to think our brain is like a receiver of radio waves or thoughts or events. Some people are tuned into different frequencies and can receive different radion stations. I think our mind (which is different from our physical brain) can access the collective unconscious or Akashic Record or whatever you want to call it (the sum total of everything that has happened) and our mind passes the information down to our brain for interpretation like it does for our other senses.

Any large or personal event in the future, leaves a huge energy signature due to the emotions of people reacting to it. This means that folks who are tuned into this collective unconscious can pick up on these large emotional events before others.

You guys who pick up this stuff HAVE to learn to distance yourself from the emotional charge you receive otherwise you will be affected by it. It is not a particularly nice feeling to receive this stuff but there have been 'oracles' and 'seers' and 'prophets' all through history. They managed to survive and be useful and so can you.

Put the thought 'out there' into the environment that you would like help to manage the emotions associated with these feelings and someone will come into your life who can help. Be grateful that you are the one who has these feelings and keep being grateful because gratitude is the way forward and can lead to a much better life quality for you and your family. Good luck.
