If we are all the same soul, a successive chain isn't likely since consciousness can transcend time. From there the lines would break down entirely and there would be no way to track it. (Except past life regression) Unless reincarnation followed some pattern...

Will if this idea of the soul you got going here, is true then it's all the more proof God is dead, sacrificing himself so we can all live, and no this metaphor he's in all of us, and still alive just seems arbitrary to the simple reality, of reality.
