AROCES Posted August 8, 2009 Author #51 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Like you, I'm merely posting polls that you somehow missed during the Bush regime. I think that is just right. We all can post different polls and soon you will see that I was right after all about polls.LOL
Startraveler Posted August 8, 2009 #52 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Perhaps Obama's approval ratings are rebounding.
Caesar Posted August 8, 2009 #53 Share Posted August 8, 2009 And to someone above: the reason polls sample more Democrats than Republicans is because there are more registered Democrats than Republicans in the United States (generally by almost ten points). They can still oversample Democrats--so you're right to be cautious--but don't think that there should be equal numbers of self-identified partisans in an accurate poll. I wouldn'y say 50% plus more democrates
SRCivic98 Posted August 8, 2009 #54 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Not really, since only 57% of the population actually voted in the last election. that's because more and more people are turning their backs to the government. which isn't surprising really. And what's happening now is just a repeat of the 1920's. Although considered the roaring twenties it still became the worst depression ever in history until the one we got into now. If this health care thing passes then it'll be the same thing that happened with FDR in office. things will appear okay and then boom! the economy will suffer a tramadic blow that will put you on your knees and this time it'll just keep pounding until you can't stand no more. Dr. D Posted August 8, 2009 #56 Share Posted August 8, 2009 I think that is just right. We all can post different polls and soon you will see that I was right after all about polls.LOL Yes, we all see you were right . . . . ignore the ones that don't serve your super hero and post the ones that are negative to someone who shows real leadership. The neocon strategy and that's exactly right for you.

KRS-One Posted August 8, 2009 #60 Share Posted August 8, 2009 (edited) Real leadership???????? I thought Obama follows the Poll and sees it as voice of the world? That is not leadership at all. Where did the thought that "Obama follows the Poll" come from, whatever that means? Even if it were true that he really was all about following the polls, wouldn't that be considered exceptionally democratic by following the will of the people? Still awesome to watch you hanging yourself out to dry about your opinions on polls in general, I must say. Keep up the fine work. Just shows that you were wrong . . . . as usual. You were brown shirting for the ignorance of Bush for so long you forgot what leadership was . . . . if you ever knew. Nope, it's following the will of the Party and the Socialist minded Americans. Not really doing what made America what is about. Boeing, General Electric, Oracle, Intel etc.... Not welfare, entitlements, food stamp and free this and that .( That is the former USSR)
