Psychic Predictions or lucky guesses?

I was thinking recently about psychic predictions. I've made a few myself, that is I quieted my mind and tried to see what was going to happen in the future and just basically wrote down what came to me. Its an interesting practise, you start off with how things are now, and its like looking at a playscript... you get kind of creative and if it was a playscript or a soap opera .. what would I write next? So I've done that a few times and its actually come to pass.

So, how can a person predict the future? The only way this would be possible is if the future is happening already and we just don't see it.

Otherwise prediction the future is impossible because it hasn't happened yet.

Any thoughts?

Any future event is happening because the laws of our development are Objective, so we have some direction where we are moving to. This part is de-facto known, at least to the specialists. The same time the actual events are the result of multiple choices made by people, so some psychics are probably able to estimate these choices and their results, thus reconstructing a future logical chain.

The above is in the absence of predetermination, while if such takes place and the Continuum is existing in a complete form, then the events are existing in the future part despite we cannot witness them upfront, but some probably can somehow operate with Continuum and see them.

Predicting the future isn't impossible, from everything to the weather to human action it's just a matter of knowing the variables.

I do not think this is all as easy as that. Physics has two concepts - Contact Action and Remote Action, of which the first one is considered scientific. For two bodies to interact somehow, they have to directly touch each other or to have their fields overlapping somehow. Remote Action seems to be a miracle of a sort; however the Biological fields around the living bodies are not studied enough, and what may look like Remote Action may in fact be a Contact Action by overlapping the unknown fields.

I had a friend in the past who was able to hold the objects in the air between two hands. Fraud excluded, as there is a pile of international editions with his photos, doing this, he was several times examined in Academy of Sciences in USSR and was attracted by KGB for testing so-called "psychotronic weapons", this all mostly in 1970s.There is still several sites, mentioning him.

I mean some psychic abilities are still hanging in grey area of science, and possibly the predictions of future too, as we do not know how exactly they are done. We should not be detracted by the large numbers of fake psychics, as we also know the cases of finding missing people or hidden dead bodies, which indicate there may be something behind this.

Of course there are fake psychics. There are fake people every where and in all walks of life. I just sit on the fence with this.

Not to be too fussy but I'm sure a movie producer would know a few tricks, a precursor to the modern Chris Angel or David Blaine.

I understand what you mean when you tell of Biological fields being Contact Action. It is very plausible, at least at this point in time where these biological fields are reletively unknown. However, when push comes to shove such 'psychics' and miracle workers fail to hold up. Psychic Abilities is perhaps the only unexplained mystery we have here that can be easily proven because the believer can give evidence to their claim at will by performing a magic or psychic feat. This doesn't happen though, plenty of excuses are made, and even though there are million dollar cash rewards nobody has bin able to prove the existence of such things under scientific study.

Well considering the USSR is no more I think it would be safe to assume they were unsuccessful

Most of the people watching his tricks were themselves from the same world of theatres and movies. I do not see this as a point, as this was not done for profit but just to amuse, at least in the beginning.
