If they're not going to get it legally changed, they should at least suck it up and take the flak with good humour.
Stormcrow Posted October 24, 2009 #28 Share Posted October 24, 2009 Agreed. Otherwise, anyone is at liberty to mock. Or at least freak out.

Archer1945 Posted October 27, 2009 #30 Share Posted October 27, 2009 Considering this story appeared in The Sun, I have to wonder how factual it is. I suspect the name "Harry Potter" is probably quite common since both 'Harry' and 'Potter' are not unusual names.
Hurrikane Posted October 28, 2009 #31 Share Posted October 28, 2009 Dear Mr. Harry Potter, You have a really cool name. If you hated the attention then you wouldn't have allowed the interview with the paper as it would just bring about more attention to your name. Personally, I'd love to be able to say my name was Harry Potter and then pull out a wooden spoon and pretend it was a wand all of a sudden. Just be glad your name isn't Draco Malfoy. If you didn't like the attention you probably wouldn't have ran into a lamp post. Sincerely, Hurrikane
Cristina1 Posted October 29, 2009 #32 Share Posted October 29, 2009 I'm sure if there were a "REAL" Harry Potter the book was written after, Rowling would change the names up a bit. Rowling stole Harry Potter image along with theme from maybe not so well known film called: "Young Sherlock Holmes" (1985) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090357/ you have to see it to believe it. Crow Woman Posted October 30, 2009 #33 Share Posted October 30, 2009 I wonder what this Harry Potter dude looks like? Probably not like Rowling's Harry Potter, but I would love to see that scar on his forehead. I am just curious like that.
