4 Questions Regarding Evil

I am interested in considering all opinions...

*What is evil?

Where does evil come from?

Why would God allow us to exist in a world of evil?

**Is the flesh evil?

Good is the thing that you favour, evil is your sour flavour.

Basically, for Islam, anyone who is not Muslim is evil. Anyone who is Muslim is good.

For most people in the USA, Muslims are evil and Christians are good.

Know what I mean?

*I would say from the start what evil is not. It is not the absence of good. One may say that darkness is the absence of light. But, there is both evil and good in this world; therefore, evil is not the absence of good.

**By flesh I mean body. The Greek philosophers viewed the body as a type of evil for it's incessant desires which rage against the soul and inhibit spiritual growth. The traditional Christian view of the flesh is the body and it's desires - which may or may not be viewed as evil.

PS. I would also be interested in anyone providing their opinion on the difference between evil, sin, and iniquity. Thanks.
