Any chance of getting footage of that? The soiling, not the shooting, I mean.

Wanting to see the shooting I could understand!, but the Soiling! :unsure2:

- I think you may prefer one of the 'specialised German sites' for that! :o

never shot any video of it, it was very funny though. He acted like a bear and everything, snorting and pushing up on trees, the first time I saw him do it I was terrified and reached for a cast iron pan to defend myself with...

They are not biologists and have no expert knowledge in any way to justify their claim

Just a comment that one does not have to have a degree is something to be an expert. It is more about experience then schooling. I for example have a mechanical enineering degree, but have never worked in a ME job, I have worked in electronics for many years, but have no degree in electronics. So, where would my expertise be? If you go with schooling/education, you would be wrong. Even having a Biology degree is not the mark of an expert. I was talking to a woman from my church the other day who has a Bachelors in biology, but she could not identify a preying mantis eggcase, and yet I could. That is the result of experience versus education. Experience will always win out as a guide for expertise over education. I will admit that it is best to have education and experience in the same subject. That is probably more the mark of an expert then anything, educated and experienced.

Wanna job? :)

I think though that you would understand how folds go together and could design something if you had to - your training was for that very reason. The lady at your Church could take the egg case back to her place of work and use her references to tell you what family of mantis you have an egg sac of. I see your point, and agree that long standing experience is indeed valuable, some trades are earned that way (underpinning knowledge), but having a professional library at one's disposal also offers outstanding resources beyond local knowledge. Things one has been trained to understand.

Working together is the most beneficial act. So long as both parties are willing to accept outcomes, no matter how disappointing they may, or may not be.

I think that is why Biff gets so much creedence. Surely it comes from the professionals claiming sightings (park rangers, lumberjacks etc.), and not from offerings such as this raincoat Biff.

This is close to where I live, and it was pretty big news. I've always heard secondhand stories about a bigfoot type thing in the area, but this is true everywhere.

It's probably fake, because it looks like a horrible suit, right? So that's the most likely answer.

Oh, and for those who complain about the quality of the photo, have you never seen a deer cam? It takes a picture when something moves, it's not there to capture footage for an HD documentary. They are cheap, but effective. The quality is not the main focus. Unless you find a Bigfoot that is :)

Thinking like any conspiracy theorist would, I believe it is a photo of Big Foot wearing a costume in order to make us believe that Big Foot doesn't exist... :innocent: :innocent: :innocent:

Actually, it's not suicide. My cousin has dressed in a gorilla suit several times during camping trips with family and friends. It's hilarious. When there's a new person with us, he sneaks off and dons the gorilla suit and pretends to be a bear. People nearly soil themselves with fear. It's really quite hilarious. He's not been shot yet.

Your cousin is a fool. He'll run into somebody that has a pistol in their backpack and he'll get shot. Just saying, it was all a joke won't help him any. As for the guy that shoots him; if I was on his jury, I'd find him 'not guilty'. KennyB

I think "Yet" is the defining word in your post. Does not make it any less stupid.

Party pooper.

What's wrong with a little fun?

My little sister had a BF back in the day, who has lost half a leg to a motorbike accident. We lived in flats that backed onto a caravan park. One night, on the drink, he figured it would be funny to put tomato sauce over his stump, and hop through the Caravan park screaming. As if that was not enough, his room mate ran through the same caravan park about 2 minutes later, also screaming hysterically, wielding a carving knife that was also covered in tomato sauce.

That was stupid, but damn funny. Sometimes you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and see the lighter side of life ;)

When I look at this picture the first thing that comes to mind is:

I didn't know they'd wear relaxed fit pants. :)

I have to say wrong....These are from a cheap trail camera ( and these are not my best pics ).....This is why i say just another piece of evidence Biff does not exist....There are thousands upon thousands of trail cam's tied to trees , poles , fence posts , etc. across the US /Canada ......Someone would have had one by now on film....Especially someone with half a brain that is " looking " for Biff.....The trail cameras are not the excuse here....

Is law in USA (or Canada) like that? You shoot some random stranger and aren't guilty, because you thought he was bigfoot? Will you say that in court:

"I am NOT guildy at manslaughter, because I thought that poor fella I killed was actually a bigfoot."

Jury thinks: "Well, if that's the case, we vote not guilty!"

Why people who kill other people just don't say:

"I thought he was martian/alien/el chupacabra, bigfoot, some strange creature, zombie, mummy, vampire, my mother-in-law..." etc.

And even if you'd say not guilty thank god there's other people in jury also.

I am not really sure how this would play out in Court.....Put it like this , I live ( lease / rent ) on 34 acres , no one around , no neighbors , no people should be on this property at all ( and have not been in the 2 years I have been here )....Now , if I am sitting here reading UM , and my wife yells from the back deck " something big is out here " in a very scared voice , I am grabbing my 12 Gauge.....If something walks within range that is over 6 feet tall , and covered with fur , and grunting away , I will give one warning " Don't ****g Move Or I WILL SHOOT ".....If " it " does not stop , I am shooting , would be a lower leg shot first......If screaming persists with a English language , I will not shoot again , I will call 911......If more animal noises come out , If it is not stopped , I am shooting again , higher up.

If this turns out to be a idiot in a Guerilla Suit , sorry about your knee caps and shins bud.....I do not think I am getting a man slaughter charge for protecting my family from a threat.

This would go for out in the wilderness also , but there I would be a little more cautious about my actions.....

A teenager wore an outfit depicting the mythical Bigfoot creature. He then carried a fellow young person on each shoulder.

Alarmed residents called the sheriff's department and several others armed with shotguns headed to where the prank was taking place.

The young people, ranging in age from 18-to-23, were given a warning.

However, sheriff's officials say those involved in any copycat incidents will face reckless endangerment charges.

the scientology church has proven bigfoot doesn't exist.

/thread

I do not think they exist , but no one can " prove something does not exist ".....That does not work out.

When claims are made , it is up to said person to prove it exists....The burden of proof falls on the person(s) claiming said thing.
