Valiant Thor

Perhaps some of you have heard of him, but I got Weird NJ Vol. II for X-Mas, and I found his story there. Here is a brief synopsis/paraphrase of the story.

Thor's presence begins in 1957 when he visited the Eisenhower administration. He is said to resemble us (human features), although much more handsome, but what "struck him out" was that he could apparently walk through walls and leave no fingerprints. Today, people are still trying to find his ship, the Victory One, which is said to be located near Lake Mead in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sightings of "Venusians" began in the 50s in Hunterdon County, NJ with Howard Menger, who claims they frequently came to his farm. He went on talk shows to talk about his experiences. He also hosted conventions. At one of these conventions appeared Commander Valiant Thor, who claimed he was the leader of all Venusians on Earth. He vowed his audiences by speaking any language known to man, including dialects. Thus began Thor's mystery.

Thor said he came from a race of Venusians that lived within the planet itself, not on its surface. They were superior to humans: more intelligent, better-looking, less-violent. They were sent here, he said, to protect humans from themselves and to prevent nuclear war. He asked to speak with the President, but instead, according to Thor, he met with Secretary of State John F. Dulles. He was held by the Pentagon for questioning. However, Thor's story gets stranger with the introduction of Frank Stranges.

Stranges said that agents of the Venusians escorted him to the Pentagon in 1959 to meet with Val, and he claimed to have seen Val's brother, Donn Thor, walk through walls. He also said that, upon meeting Valiant for the first time, the alien showed him a suit that would only zipper when Val waved his hand;it was made from "fabric" that could not be destroyed. The alien said to Stranges that the government was doing tests on him, and his IQ was determined to be close, or over, 200. Stranges, an ordained minister (preacher) said that Valiant and his shipmates (among them Donn and Jill, not related to the brothers) are a race of people created by God before Adam, and never fell from grace like humankind did.

Victory One is said to contained Valiant, Donn, Teel, Jill and a medical doctor called "Doc." Stranges says he still meets with Thor to this day. Sometimes they go back to Venus, but they always return here to Earth. Val said that he has a specific timeline to expose himself to the public.

Is he the figment of a madman's imagination, a real alien, or just a psycho-womp? We may never know until he reveals hismelf, if his story is true.

Eh...weird, would love to get facial recognition analysis via federal, or military systems, fingerprints, or some kind of data on those in the photos. These people aren't that attractive, you would think they'd be olympic level buff or something. However, the blonde's not bad at all.

How do you/whoever claims it know he's from Venus? As far as I know, Venus is an inhabitable planet.

I'm almost 100% sure someone looks at these pictures and goes:"Oh hey, that's my grandpa. I didn't know gramps was Venusian!"

what i dont get about this is, if he doesnt age and he sas that he is hee to help earth an some sort of godly alien being, why has he not done more, with all the wars and things that havegone on over the years why has he notcome forward with hes all mighty perception of what e shoul be doing and guided us to a peacefull out come, if a bloke comes out and tells me hes from venus and all that, tells me that i should living this way i would tell him to do one, but if he was to actually show the world these amazing abilitys that he apparently has wouldnt we all be more prone to follow hes word? also why the hell would the police just take a random bloke to the whithouse? they say that he could make people do what he wanted an feel calm around him then why the need to secure him in a room with armed guards. dont understand this at all, unless there realy lizards under neath that skin! that i could jut about swallow
