A German reptile collector has been jailed for 14 weeks and must pay a 5,000 New Zealand dollar ($3,540) fine for plundering New Zealand's wild gecko and skink populations, a judge ruled Tuesday.

Hans Kurt Kubus, 58, is to be deported to Germany as soon as he is released from prison, Judge Colin Doherty ordered.

I can't begin to imagine how big this special pouch on his underwear is to support 44 lizards. Hahaha. This is the best I can do to keep it civil and on-topic.

Although I really didn't think these creatures would be part of a billion dollar black market industry. Who would have thought.

This is by far the DUMBEST idea iv'e seen someone attempt...what does he possibly have to gain from smuggling geckos? And if it is for some black market thing then i want to know for how much and how i can get involved cause that has to be on of the easiest ways of making a buck :innocent:
