'Lotto lout' Michael Carroll back on the dole after squandering his £9.7m on drugs and prostitutes

He was widely regarded as one of the most undeserving lottery winners of all time after he arrived to collect his cheque wearing an electronic offender's tag.

Michael Carroll's £9.7million win saw him dubbed the 'lotto lout' after several more brushes with the law including a spell in jail as he proceeded to squander his cash on drugs, gambling, and thousands of prostitutes.

He was known as the neighbour from hell after decking his £300,000 eight bedroom property in Downham, Norfolk, with seven widescreen TVs, a Jacuzzi and huge sound systems for parties.

I think I remember seeing this guy on TV, one of those Lottory changed my life shows on E! Such a shame, he seemed like such a nice boy, I would have never seen it coming. </sarcasm>
