I don't really know that there's much we can do, other than put evacuation procedures in place and hope for the best. However, I predict that if an ash cloud big enough to disrupt flights for two years - as has been predicted by some - arrives, we'll come up with a way to blow it up...

This volcano exuded more CO2 in the first five minutes than all the internal combustion engines ever made. I guess we are going to just fry, according to the man made climate change warming people.
