That first one does look like the described "LOST" thunderbird pic. But its most likely trick photography

This sketch seems to be the most like the missing picture.

I'm one of those that is sure I saw the picture in a book.

But I've been wrong before.

the one with the soldiers standing over what appears to be a dead thunderbird? or the one where the guy has one hung on his wall...?

The one I remember seeing is in post #3.

Even a photo of that drawing could be easily faked with trick photography, i mean, its the same thing as the ones outside. Set up a bird close to the camera inside a barn, and bingo! you've got a thunder bird

Oh, I agree.

I believe the picture is real and exists somewhere.

Thunderbird? Nope.

The first looks real, but the second looks like it might have been photoshopped.

looks about right.

from my research ive learned that that image just.... disappeared completely. even from books that it was printed in, they were reprinted without the picture. odd.

I KNOW I saw that photo, and that sketch does best picture it. I'm still left wondering where it is and where I can find it again.

okay, i think its safe to assume that we've all seen this illusive pic at some point. which begs the question : where the hell did it go? things dont just disappear, it has to still be somewhere...

were talking about the pic of the bird nailed to the side of a barn, and six or so guys standing fingertip to fingertip infront of it. theres a drawing of it earlier in this thread.
