Ravindran returned to Poovam near Pondicherry, nearly 40 days after he was believed to have hanged himself. Startled villagers couldn't believe their eyes and started throwing stones at him, Newindpress website reports. Police say the man who hanged himself was mistakenly identified as Ravindran before the body was handed over to his family for cremation.
