Guyver Posted May 18, 2010 #101 Share Posted May 18, 2010 http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=98623&st=0 He's posted a bunch of them in this thread. I'm replying to this post by Corp because it contains a link to some of IronGhosts best work, IMO. For all the people that are skeptical about this work. First, I think that IronGhost is honest and just sharing his experiences with us as he has experienced them. I don't think he's fabricating fiction - if he were, I think he could do a better job. Yes this one, and the Wizard sessions went weird. It's easy to be skeptical when the story seems unbelievable. But, check the link, (it's a long read but worth it) and you will find some stuff that will blow your mind. Like the crib-babies account, and his sessions from college, or from his hometown as a kid. Some of that stuff is more mind-blowing than weird. So I say to IronGhost, if you start to burn-out; take a break. Dig out and post some of the old stuff. You've got some amazing experiences in those old files of yours.

It was an energy that gave birth to life. People believed that flies were created from the ether escaping from dead cows. It wasn't till a man used a jar and a rotting piece of meat to prove otherwise. He was tormented and ridiculed profoundly until more theories came out as technology and understanding improved. Jerry and the rest are no different than those in the past. Even if by our current iteration of what we are capable of does not justify something like IronGhosts claims, it is still worth it to at least consider what he has to say, you never know what wild theory or event may be proven true by future science and understanding. The wise knows that they do not know or understand even a fraction of what is out there in this world. There is nothing wrong with being skeptical while holding an open mind. However being intolerant and belligerent is not. Much love, -Caitlyn

TSS Posted May 18, 2010 #105 Share Posted May 18, 2010 Interesting thread - out of interest, incase I missed it, did you enquire as to where the name Dr.58 came from?
Davedini Posted May 18, 2010 #106 Share Posted May 18, 2010 I have been keeping up with this topic on my phone and it is amazing IG. Its amazing to think of the posibilities of what you could have tapped into All in all very interesting and I expect to see more Don't worry about the mods and making it to long because we are enjoying this and we want to know more
Saru Posted May 18, 2010 #107 Share Posted May 18, 2010 This topic is certainly generating a lot of interest which is good to see, just a reminder though for everyone to keep comments polite and constructive even if you do have reservations about what is being discussed. Thank you.
Robin_Shadowes Posted May 18, 2010 #108 Share Posted May 18, 2010 I think this is one of the most fascinating things I've ever read in a long time. Dr 58's alternate universe is totally gripping. I just want to know more about it. What if Dr 58 is not a mischievious spirit but a living being in a parallell universe? Then this could be the most important discoveries in history! Perhaps this will lead to a more stable way of communicating with them than a Ouija board, perhaps not now but in the not too far away future? I long for the next installment almost like a drug addict.
Davedini Posted May 18, 2010 #109 Share Posted May 18, 2010 It would be an important note in history but we would have to figure out how to prove it is true
louis_last Posted May 18, 2010 #110 Share Posted May 18, 2010 I'm seriously itching for the next installment. It's like starting a book and then not being able to finish it - it's killing me.
Murrangurk Posted May 18, 2010 #111 Share Posted May 18, 2010 Holy cow IG!! Talk about down the rabbit hole!! And we never really got to know about the Satellite disasters. Yet, something else even more crazy!! More more!!!!
IronGhost Posted May 18, 2010 Author #112 Share Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) Well ... I don't know what to say. I'm happy many of you are finding this interesting. It's kind of a strange Catch-22 for me because while it's gratifying that so many people find this interesting ... I just wish I could say that I wrote it, but I have no feeling of that whatsoever... Anyway, the next installment may be the cure ... I got side tracked into a long discussion with Dr. 58 about some of the basics of his life and world, such as their economic system, how society is structured, what kind of house Dr. 58 lives in ... stuff like that ... it's interesting to me because I tend to be wonkish, but it may seem exceedingly dry to others. I may just skip over that installment and get directly into the catastrophic event that was known as the "Flood of Horrors" which triggered the Nazi genocide of the Eburneans ... but I am a tad afraid it's a bit graphic and gruesome, as is the result of the satellite disaster -- I don't want to test the patience of the mods (who have been exceedngly kind) with information that is difficult to read or contemplate, although I guess we have had our own horrors and genocides in this world as well ... Anyway, let me give it some thought, type up and organize my transcripts ... and hopefully I will add another post here this evening. Thanks to you all, even the critics, I love UM because it has all of you ... Edited May 18, 2010 by IronGhost
IsThatTrue Posted May 18, 2010 #113 Share Posted May 18, 2010 Please please please post the basics of Dr 58's life and world, I (as are many others, I'm sure)am extremely interested in the differences of this world and his world. I'm also very interested in this 'Flood Of Horrors' and the satellite disaster! One thing I would like to know: How are you able to contact Dr 58 each time? Surely the Ouija Board i harder to control than that? (i have never used one before -but plan to- so I don't really know how they work)

Wow, I'm kinda more interested in the social life and workings of "58's" world but this "Flood of horror" sounds like the 1993 flood of the Mississippi it was so bad they called it "the 6th Great Lake". Anyway I eagerly await your next installment.

CausticGnostic Posted May 19, 2010 #121 Share Posted May 19, 2010 This really is quite the story. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. I wonder if they have an internet there. That would be interesting. I think that "Hassass Grid" thing is their version of the Internet. All you need is a glass sphere and some sesame oil and you're in business! Of course, you'd have to deal with a snotty mod and monotonous trolls barging in from Minnesota, but, on the bright side, to pay for it all you have to do in generate and then shatter a psychic power bar into convenient consciousness chits. I'm still trying to figure out if I can get that to work for this month's bills. Hey! Wait a minute! If the Hassass Grid is their version of the Internet, and it can send and receive messages to and from parallel universes (just like a Oiuja board, apparently) how do I know whether any of you folks are living in the same universe as I am, or, instead, you're really butting in from some other universe! Who's the President of the United States where you live. . . ?

Thank you, Uncommon, and the rest. Just a note to apologize for being unable to answer so many e-mails and/or PMs. If I've ignored you, it's because I'm simply swamped.
