I thought of this earlier and if this were a chess game it would be risky move for Iran to launch just in case they do miss their target and hit somewhere else. The fact that the overwhelming majority of Iranian missiles are ballistic ones anyway with little or no guidance mechanisms mean that yes it would be suicidal for Iran to launch any missiles. But then again, there's nothing stopping Russia or China or North Korea selling Iran guidance systems to fit to missiles in service. At the moment, Iran can only pick targets based on how far the missiles can actually fly. Israel has nukes, although if they actually possess warheads remains to be seen, since no one has really heard of them since 1973 means they could easily be in the same posistion as Iran, as neither of us know the quality of the missiles or even if they still exist anymore. If anything the temple that is there remains and become part of an international, multicultural place of spirituality for religious and humanist alike.
