Ryinrea Posted July 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2010 The BP oil leak could be completely contained as early as Monday if a new, tighter cap can be fitted over the blown-out well, the government official in charge of the crisis said Friday in some of the most encouraging news to come out of the Gulf in the 2½ months since the disaster struck.Read more... Silus Posted July 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Somehow I doubt it will be that simple. Isn't there more than one site that is leaking?
Kailash 108 Posted July 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2010 There are more spots with leaks as well, the rov on the sea bed only shows one leak. Either way if they get this tight cap seal on, the damage has been done and the region will never be the same. And yet these people are still looking for more spots to throw up there off shore drills. Like seriously wake up.
village_idiot Posted July 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2010 If it's so simple, why has it taken over 2 ****ing months for them to figure this out? BP has done an impressive job of boosting their morale and upping their public image and sweeping plenty of things under the carpet since this whole thing began. ninjadude Posted July 14, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2010 If it's so simple, why has it taken over 2 ****ing months for them to figure this out? There was nothing simple about anything with this issue. To claim that means you completely misunderstand it.
