How do they enforce the bald head policy? What if you are naturally bald? Do you have to wear a hat? Wear a big silly toupee with sideburns?:hmm:

I don't think there's anything wrong with tats or piercings but too much of it isn't cool anymore, it's just plain ugly. You gotta be able to make yourself look professional to get a good job, not just being smart but also with looks and personality. But then again if you were smart, you wouldn't go to an interview with a painted face and metals on your face now, would you?

No idea how they enforce it. All I know is they felt it wasn't professional. Doesn't make any sense to me at all!

The guy who insulted her is not an employer.

He's a government employee who's sole job is to help people find a job. He's paid to be professional, helpful, courteous and respectful.

He failed.

Exactly. That's the crux of the whole thing.

That government employee should be reprimanded, and move on.

The job net worker had no right to speak to her like that but at the same time general society does expect a certain level of 'normality' in their staff. There are certain industries that she could work in no problem but she's obviously not trained for it.

I have 2 tattoos on my bikini line so they can't be seen. I would love to have one on my inner wrist but most hospitals won't allow tattoos on view so I have to wait till I get a job to see what their policy is. The same with facial piercing's. I love the little diamonds that sit on the skin but we are only allowed one pair of studs due to our own safety should a patient become aggressive, no neck wear either for safety as well so we don't get choked.

I'd be in trouble with a no bald head policy.

Mind you, I'd be even worse with a no facial hair policy. I have a full beard that is about 7 inch long, lol.

Howcome my posts were deleted due to legal reasons? Surely the fact that I'm telling the truth cannot be a problem? Freedom of speech? Any way I'm just curious why it would be classed as a legal problem.
