Still Waters Posted September 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2010 When two dolphin species come together, they attempt to find a common language, preliminary research suggests.Bottlenose and Guyana dolphins, two distantly related species, often come together to socialise in waters off the coast of Costa Rica. Both species make unique sounds, but when they gather, they change the way they communicate, and begin using an intermediate language. That raises the possibility the two species are communicating in some way. Read more...
Grandpa Greenman Posted September 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Maybe their cussing each other out. It just goes to show we don't need to keep these animals in captivity.

One of the species being bottlenose dolphins I wouldn't be surprised lol. Interesting article. Dolphins tend to be quite curious so it doesn't surprise me too much that they are trying to communicate and some species even interbreed in the wild from time to time. One other example we know of something similar happening is actually in captivity; SeaWorld's orcas come from different populations so they originally spoke different dialects but being forced to live together they do communicate although the animals captured from the wild do maintain some characteristics of their old dialects. Rolci Posted October 1, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) This is all fascinating. Although I'm not surprised, knowing how intelligent they are. Also, they are - believe it or not - third density beings. Just like humans. I just read about them recently, please allow me to share it here: source: http://www.llresearch.org/transcripts/issues/1981/1981_1129.aspx Edited October 9, 2010 by Still Waters Shortened text. It makes me wonder if, like humans, when trying to communicate with some one that does not speak their language, talk really loud, slow and gesture excessively. I mean, hell, even while reading it you can tell that both sides of the convo are written by one person! There are attempts to hide it by the use of an odd pattern of speech on the "channelled" spirit's side, but they are insufficient. Attempting the several illogical mannerisms throughout the "session" only makes clearly the ludicrous nature of the "information" gathered. I like fiction as much as the next guy, but I like it labeled as such. I'm sorry to say it, but that article suggest delusion or deceit. Edited October 9, 2010 by Still Waters Shortened quoted text.
