Joan Peters' myth exposed and debunked

A few on this forum have tried to claim that the Arab migration to Palestine was so significant, that most of the Palestinians in Palestine during the mandate were not actually Palestinians at all! This myth was given credit, largely due to a book called Time Immemorial written by Joan Peters.

Dr. Norman Finkelstein is largely credited with destroying this myth, and along with it, Joan Peters' career. Now, I own the book in paperback an I have searched high and low across the internet to find a pdf version so I can copy/paste the relevant material to make it fairly simple for all to see and read. But, as I have not so far found a pdf version, I am doing it 'manually', which takes a LOT of time and I feel I have spent enough of my time exposing this awful hoax that has already, long ago, been literally laughed out of the halls of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

But, what I can do, fairly easily, is provide you with a link to the relevant chapter, for all to read themselves, making it extremely easy for anyone interested to see quite clearly, as Dr. Finkeltein has laid it out so, exactly how far off the mark Joan Peters went when rewriting history.

Now I understand that many won't have the time to read through the whole chapter, which is a dire shame because the chapter absolutely mauls and exposes the fraud for what it is, but what I will suggest is that those interested, simply read the first 4 or 5 pages from the relevant chapter - from page 21 - to see clearly the tactics Peters has employed (making up statistics, lying, discarding the actual documented record, etc.)

You will be literally shocked to see the lengths that Peters goes to, in an attempt to create her own little world where the documented record becomes obsolete.

And I hope that all have the time to read this, because it is one of the most important pieces of literature you can come across with regards to the hoax that has been perpetuated extensively, only to die, then to be reborn with the internet due to the vast amount of foolish people who try to pass it off as fact.

Also, if anyone can find a pdf version anywhere, it would be much appreciated for then I could lay it all out very easily.

Aren't you going to address this thread? After all, if you have taken the time to read a full 600 pages Joan Peters', I'm sure you can spare a few hours reading the material that exposes it as a fraud? Even the previous posted articles would suffice. In the other thread, you said:

OK, so let us hear your theories. What exactly in Joan Peters' fraud do you think to be reality? Give me examples. Arab immigration? An empty land? What? Give me plenty of examples of what it is you think that Peters actually proved in that farce of a book.

On your statement on Finkelsteins book, The Holocaust Industry - which it should be mentioned, has no bearing on this topic or any other I have started - here's what Raul Hilberg had to say about it (y'know, the most authoritative figure on holocaust studies on the entire planet, eh, ever http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raul_Hilberg ).

I would now say in retrospect that he was actually conservative, moderate and that his conclusions are trustworthy. Obviously you have not read it - and actually have no idea what it is about. You have just latched on to the fact that it revolves around anything Jewish Holocaust-related, and used it as a truly weak means to discredit the writer. Do you even know what it's about?

Nice try. But as I stated above, give me examples of what exactly you believe to be reality in Joan Peters' hoax.

Also, I showed pretty convincingly in the other thread, just how worthless Dershowitz is when it comes to Israel/Palestine matters.

All this time I had this debate and research thing wrong. In future I'll know that to counter an argument all I need to do is to mount a photo of a source in an old Nazi picture. Thanks, that will save me no end of time and money trying to find actual facts about world politics.
