'Scourge of society' Named & Shamed

Four teenage thugs who committed a string of robberies, burglaries and assaults have been named and shamed by a judge who called them a 'scourge on society'.

Gary Mills, 19, Bradley Harris, 17, Dylan Howes, 15 and Paul Harvey, 14, went on the rampage across Middlesbrough in a crime spree that left their victims traumatised, Teesside Crown Court heard.

In one attack Harris and Howes - along with an as-yet unidentified knifeman - stole a mobile telephone from a 21-year-old spina bifida sufferer, who needs his phone for medical emergencies.

He was kicked in the back and had a seizure during the incident.
