James Camerons first movie: PIRANHA;

The worst movie ever created. You'd expect you couldn't go wrong with the only movie created at the time about flesh-stripping piranhas, but DEAR GOD.

pssst, Talon, banner.

Open Water, opening soon, looks like a sumb**** of a shark movie. I also understand that they used real sharks for the underwater footage. Talon will never go swimming again. tongue.gif

180 feet? crying.gif

Yeah, 180 feet is a little bit of an exaggeration i think.

How could they measure that it was 180 feet by a videocamera underwater anyway?

Its a fake. Its from the Meg movie screen shots. The thing is the movie never got made after Godzilla flopped and the studio thought Meg would too, so the author Steve Alten and the die-hard Meg fans set up a movie page ragardless advertising the movie that could be, including fan made screne shots of events in the book. This one is just a swimmer and a GW merged into one pic as if they were one.

I've done that, and only came up with the origonal two megaladon stories, and they don't have the info you had pasted up. I googled it, and didn't come up with anything useful either.

*rolls her eyes* figures, something like this would be buried.

Well you did put up the article...

Freaky weird.

maybe in the forums? *looks there*

Something like this I wish they'ed have more then one source. Just to make sure this kinda stuff doesn't happen.

It's a hella intresting find, and something I'd hate to see buried into obscurity.

*edit in*

Found something about them reading about the meg sighting in the trench in the Sun...

Correct me if I'm wrong.. isn't the Sun one of those tabloid dealies?

What are we talking about?

My City has The Sun. The Ottawa Sun to be exact, and it's bloody awesome, best source of nationwide and worldwide hockey scores and news.

But, then there's the British Sun. Well. That's pretty much good for Page 3 and not much ekse.

Once upon a time, there was a documentary about our version of The Sun....stories they focused on were "Aliens turned our son into a fish finger!", "Man has sex with chicken!" and a few others I can't really remember...

In short, you're probably right....it's a couple of pages of porn, with stupid news articles thrown around it to give the pretense of a newspaper.
