Pope's blood to be built into altar

Still Waters

Recommended Posts

A vial containing blood drawn from Pope John Paul II shortly before he died will be installed as a relic in a Polish church soon after his beatification this year.

Piotr Sionko, the spokesman for the John Paul II Centre, said the vial would be encased in crystal and built into the altar of a church in the southern city of Krakow that is opening in May.

The exact date of the opening is not yet known, but it should be shortly after John Paul's beatification at the Vatican on May 1.

The blood religions have some strange practices.

Here we are talking about fusion power and space travel, yet some people are still stuck in the Dark Ages and believe the blood and bones of a dead Pope can do miracles.

Well, at least they're not making someone drink it.

Sounds like Satanism to me, but what did you expect, their catholics...

What's so special about his blood? Mine's just as human as his.

Haha, especially when no miracles happened when the Pope was alive for that matter.

Maybe there's another article that clarifies, but I didn't read anything in the article about the blood in this altar being used to do miracles.

How much experience and reading of Satanism do you have? Everything that I have seen of Satanism has nothing to do with inserting a vial of blood into an altar, or anything to do with an altar of any kind. But don't hold back on your opinions, let us know what you REALLY THINK of Catholics :no:

P.S - I'm neither a Catholic nor a Satanist, but speaking for myself, I really don't appreciate the unwarranted negativity you seem to be displaying to both groups of people....

Hi Joey,

Can you explain exactly how this is a "heresy"? Sure, it's not exactly a "biblical practice", but as yet I have not seen the RCC claim that it is biblical, or necessary for Christian believers.

I agree, calling heresy is a pretty judgmental & personal-belief based statement. Catholics have been "saving" and venerating blood, bones, clothing and other relics for a very, very, very long time. I'm not sure why anyone is even surprised?

Well, corrupt Satanism can be viewed as a blood religion. Any religion that worships a vial of blood sounds like superstitious

barbarians to me.

As for what I know about Satanism, I have studied it since 07 & from what I understand, the law ios "do what thou will, but harm none."

I believe Christianity serves no purpose but to enslave the human mind & lead all the sheep to the slaughter house.

With PURE Satanism, not the stuff depicted in movies, they don't worship anyone, there is no blood letting or sacrifice & we all consider ourselves god of our reality, not some invisible old man.

True, there are some people who take this to an extreme level of psychosis, but they are mentally damaged, in my opinion & misguided. But there are also Christians & Muslims whom, when misguided, commit crimes against humanity.

But truely, I think that Catholisism is the most evil of all. The pope tells AIDS victims in Africa, "go forth & multiply" when we have overpopulation across the whole planet as well! The pope says "condoms are unholy" & this leads to AIDS & overpopulation. He says his god is the only real god & then there comes your religious war!! The pope says "it is better to be poor," yet the Vatican crumbles under all the gold they cover their statues & walls with, coat themselevs in clothing made of the most expensive fabrics & then... there is the hidden agenda, MIND CONTROL.

So there you have my opinion.

My rational isn't misinformed, I do have reasons for despising all organized religions, not just Christianity. I at least take the time to review both sides with long study, perhaps years now, & I have concluded that I want nothing to do with any religion, even Satanism, & I have decided to believe in the infinity of the Universe & mind, not the limits that the invention of "religion" put on it.

The church has been doing this for a very long time, nobody with a clue should be surprised or disgusted. It's very, very normal for them.

I don't even see how it's news, honestly.

Agreed. I mean honestly, has anyone mentioned the relics that the churches have? Bits and pieces of some and entire bodies of others? It's been the practice of the Catholic church since...well darn near the beginning.

The Vatican even has a vast library in the basement containing books that they either don't want people to see or they have historical value. But mostly they are books they don't want us to see. These books include prophecies by Nostradamus, holy books such as parts of the original Bible & old copies & translations, various religious books for other cultures, drawings of ancient technology & even paintings & blueprints by Leonardo Da Vinci. That is to name a few... :alien:

The Vatican Library is open now, Vatican Library and the Secret Archives can be visited by some scholars.

From the Wiki page -

There are other Holy See archives in Rome, since each department of the Roman Curia has its own archives. The word "secret" in its modern sense can be applied to some of the material kept by the Apostolic Penitentiary, when it concerns matters of the internal forum; but registers of the rescripts that it issued up to 1564 have been deposited in the Vatican Secret Archives and are open for consultation by qualified scholars. Half of these have already been put in digital form for easier consultation. The confidentiality of the material means that, in spite of the centuries that have passed since 1564, special rules apply to its publication.[11]

I don't buy into the alien or super secret Nostradamus stuff tho, sorry. :)
