Witnesses said that they saw an unidentified object that was hovering above the waters of a mangrove. The UFO emited a bright light and then, in few seconds disappeared. After that, the fish began to appear floating dead in the water. These fish showed signs of burns on the scales and gills. arrow3.gifRead more...

Now this is where science really should be doing something, collecting samples of the dead fish to find out just what happened to them. It is a very disturbing turn of events if true. I don't like it very much, but there are many things about the allged actions of UFOs that I don't like.

I think this story is fishy in it's own. Too many unanswered questions here.

Were only fish harmed, and what were the species? I would bet pollution is the real culprit here, if anything.

This reminds me of the bird and fish deaths from a few weeks ago and all the crack-pot theories surrounding it. I would bet that someone made up the story to corroborate the UFO assumption.

If there actually was a UFO sighting associated with these fish deaths, is there more then one person that seen it happen?? I'll try and find out, but I'm gonna predict that I find nothing, as usual.

Oh, I just re-read the article, they do go on to say that there were several witnesses. Now, if we could get a more official news release on this!

THIS IS AN ACT OF WAR!!!! <_<

We must retaliate!

I don't like posting nonsense just for the hell of it, so apart from my goof-off, I basically agree with TheMcGuffin.

The fish and the water should be tested to find out what happened

lol!

I agree, I doubt this is anything more than the mundane explanations we had for any of the other recent die off's we've experienced.

I think I've asked this like 20X or more on my posts but where are the good pictures of this if so many saw it happen??

Yes and yes. Not too sound too conspiracy theory(ish), but you have to believe that tests and examinations are already underway, no? If I were the betting type, I would wager that we will not be hearing anything more from this story.

A committee headed by blah blah blah will inspect the marsh in order to ascertain the real causes of the phenomenon. So thats the last you'll hear of it.

Guys, ET was hungry. Cut them a break. Come on now. You're a billion miles from home and you've got the munchies.

Come on. Be reasonable.

I think the title of the maagazine explains it all.Another mystery to sell to gullable public. It makes serious studies more difficult for those who believe in alien visits

Well, it definitely is rather coincidental that a large amount of dead fish were found in Arkansas prior, not to mention the birds... (as I feel the bird deaths are completely unrelated).

I think there is a lot of testing of the water that needs to be done.

What are people's thoughts on the dispersant that was used on the gulf oil spill? It apparently has lasted longer than most scientists had assumed it would. It's biodegradability is surprisingly low.

Gulf Oil Dispersant

Perhaps, it has also dispersed moreso than they had originally thought?

Since it has lasted a large amount of time, think about this...

(I know the the most abundant amount so far has been found deeper in the ocean....)

What if some of the dispersant has made it's way out of the gulf, through the caribbean sea and down through a river into Colombia. However, that does NOT explain the deaths of (birds and fish) found in Brazil, New Zealand, Louisianna, Maryland, etc.

Remember, these are just thoughts and opinions, I need to do more research in order to form something I can actually substantiate. lol.

Any thoughts?

All of the other bird and fish kils are un-related , and not unusual.( this one is lack of oxygen from what I can find , normal stuff from Plankton growth)

As for the Gulf Stream ,and the Ocean Currents , the currents alone would have kept any chemicals away from there....

The death of these fishes(of Untold Species) may actually be caused by the loss of dissolved Oxygen in water.

But maybe the UFO that was hovering above it works in some Oxygen based fuel technology ad was just refilling its empty tanks and in the meanwhile the fishes suffered and died,

Just a thought.

:hmm:

Ya , would be easier to get oxygen out of water than just sucking it out of the air?

Who knows?

I wonder what a fish would reply to that question,, lol,,

Or maybe it works on water?

Just a guess to relate both the facts or why would some UFO be hovering over a water, Oh! maybe for fishing perhaps then :P\
