Even I'm a little ashamed to say it, but I still have a piece of 'wood' in the literal sense, which I found one day while hiking with a friend. It has a rather 'suggestive' shape to it, and other than for comic purposes, no it will never have any real use, because I can't imagine the ensuing trip to the doctors and giving an explanation for the splinters being fun.

Nope. I have books, lots and lots of books in my two semi-vernaculars. English was not the sole/primary language spoken in my household growing up, so I do use it for open communication, but in terms of numbers etc, I still lean towards my second tongue, and hence have about 30 or so trig, calc, and algebra books in that language.

Do you own any really old gems/stones or pieces of wood?
