Speaking of Latakia......

Syrian Forces fire on Protestors.

By the way, where's that link I asked for, Knight? Still haven't seen it.

My friend went to Lattakia, he told me that 4 cars blocked the street and they started "spraying" everyone

Saw a report that phone calls are now being blocked and censored by the government. Can our Syrian members confirm or deney this?

No, I can assure you they are not.

Who where these people? The so-called "armed groups" or security forces? And what I would really like to know is why has it taken so long for something like this to happen?

He said they were wearing causual clothes, and I don't believe those "armed groups" exist.

Why do I feel as though Ealiar and Knight of Shadow's are the same person?

Perhaps because they both live in the same area? :)

They've expressed different viewpoints and have different writing styles. Don't see any sockpuppets here. Heck at first Knight thought Ealiar was actually a sockpuppet of someone else :P

It's only been two people and it was to be expected from KoS :D

It's refreshing to have a different more moderate point of view from Syria. :tu:

The reason I'm not deleting the above post is to leave a message to everyone NOT to attack posters.

Michelle, please do not take this as directed at you specifically. In these topics there are emotional aspects that need to be respected by everyone. Direct or indirect attacks against individual posters by other individual posters will not be tolerated.

Sorry if I sound draconian, but imo that's the only way to keep posts non-disruptive here.

I'm sorry, Ealiar.

I didn't mean to offend you, I'm just uncertain about what I should think of Knight because of the past of this particular thread.

And no, that wasn't an insult toward's Knight, before anyone flip's their lid.

Finally, someone from Syria with an honest opinion. So, if you don't believe that there are any "armed groups", then who's killing the protesters?

Security forces themselves, and I've heard "tribes" (I don't really know the word) are also settling scores with each other. And Insaniac, dont worry about it. :P

What an absolute farce.

Seriously?

State-run television somehow gets a terrorist group to admit that they are causing all the trouble?

And you believe that?

<_<
