preacherman76 Posted March 31, 2011 #51 Share Posted March 31, 2011 Hydrogen boost - a way of extracting more of the embodied energy in the petrol by promoting a more complete burn. I think the claimed for gains are about 15%. Br Cornelius These simple "kits" will increase your fuel economy and decrease your bills and dependence on foreign petroleum by anywhere from 15 to 300 percent. Read more: The Truth About Water-Powered Cars: Mechanic's Diary - Popular Mechanics Show me an attested boost better than 15%. There is nothing special about this technology - but a claim of 300% would require a conversion of petrols embodied energy of nearly 100% which again is physically impossible. Make the claim - back it up with some reliable evidence. A claim of 300% seems like very dodgy salemanship. And on the other point - until you can explain how such a water based car might actually work - I don't give a flying fig for what a fox reporter has said. questionmark Posted March 31, 2011 #54 Share Posted March 31, 2011 Personally I can say I never owned a car when living in a big city in Europe. Just another problem you have and seldom use its advantages (In the US it is different as there are mostly not even sidewalks to get you to the next mall). The three days a year I actually needed a car I went over to the next rental place. Now, I always used to have a few motorcycles to use on the weekend.... Can you provide a link, I would be interested in the basis of any such claim and who actually is making it. A nice simple analysis of what is proably going on with the "water" powered car; http://www.treehugger.com/files/2008/06/genepax-water-powered-car-japan-debunking.php Here is a more detailed analysis of what Genepax have actually achieved; " As we all suspected, the car we saw in the Reuters news video was running from it's charged batteries, not direct electricity from the fuel cell. Nevertheless, getting 300 watts of power from a metalic reaction with water is a worthy accomplishment. We now wait to see how long the metals last before they deteriorate into useless oxides or other inert compounds." http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:Genepax_Co_Ltd Let me just ask you - do you understand what power is required to move a car, in the order of 50-100kw. The unit in the boot of the car was producing 300W which means that the car was running on battery with the Genepax providing barely a trickle top up charge. It would have required about a week to restock the batteries once exhausted. Until someone provided compelling verified evidence of why the laws of thermodynamics are flawed - I will remain skeptical. You really should be a little less credulous of impossible claims - it makes you look ill informed. Guest Posted March 31, 2011 #56 Share Posted March 31, 2011 On the subject in hand. Cities are actually quite efficient and pleasant places to live - if designed properly. Having lived in a city I can attest to the fact that the main thing that ruins them is the damn cars. It is progressive and sensible to phase cars out of cities, and replace them with integrated public transport systems. In some ways I regret moving out to the country and making myself so dependent on private car ownership. Br Cornelius
Viral Posted March 31, 2011 #57 Share Posted March 31, 2011 MMM did you even watch the video? And yes, its very easy to find out who made the video. They are not even trying to lie about it. Do your research. Ive known LONG before they made these plans public, through a number of sources that the elites end game plan is to dramaticaly reduce the population and heard everyone left in to big cities, where everything you do is controled by them. First through the IMF and a one world currency, that eventualy will be controled totaly by a one world government. What else Would you call someone who willfully blindly endorces thier own enslavement? Open your eyes Holy crap! Someone who believes in the New World Order didn't give me a straight reply and back it up with evidence, shock horror! Yeah, proof rather than outrageous claims... Maybe you could also tell me why this would benefit them in any way rather than says "I HAS SOURCES! TRUST ME IT'S TRUE!" because nobody will buy that ****. Well what would you call someone who watches conspiracy videos on Youtube without thinking to looking further into its claims and instead lord it over everyone else like they have some divine knowledge? That's more Sheepish than actually thinking for yourself and not having the government (lolnwo) or youtube tell you everything.

All it takes is to build a "water-burning hybrid" is the installation of a simple, often home-made electrolysis cell under the hood of your vehicle. The key is to take electricity from the car's electrical system to electrolyze water into a gaseous mixture of hydrogen and oxygen, often referred to as Brown's Gas or HHO or oxyhydrogen. Typically, the mixture is in a ratio of 2:1 hydrogen atoms to oxygen atoms. This is then immediately piped into the intake manifold to replace some of the expensive gasoline you've been paying through the nose for these last couple of months. These simple "kits" will increase your fuel economy and decrease your bills and dependence on foreign petroleum by anywhere from 15 to 300 percent. questionmark Posted April 1, 2011 #64 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Right, like I said, the car runs on nothing but water. H20. It seperates hydrogent from water, and burns it. And thats only one form of the tech. In the first video, they put a radio wave through salt water, and makes it combustable. Cars running from water is one hell of a sales pitch. I mean are we not talking alternative energy here? The problem is that you need more energy to separate the H2O then you will get as work out of your car... besides, BMW has had a Hydrogen car for the better part of the last 20 years. Mercedes a fuel cell car for the better part of the last 25 years. As long as it is more expensive to separate the water than buying gasoline it is a non-starter...unless of course you can't take gasoline cars into cities anymore... You're not educating anyone because you don't give people views or ideas, you just post videos and regurgitate lines from them, I've seen all these little videos before and they had me paranoid for a while until I actually started thinking critically about them. I respect your opinion BR, but till you are ready to look at and investigate the claims, how could you possibly know? You make the false assumption that I have not looked into these matters. I think I have very adequately crushed your notions of a surpressed water fuel technology - I did plenty of research on the subject in my more innocent days. You have produced nothing but vague speculations to support any real scientific breakthrough. Remember I have a scientific training - which you do not. It takes a basic understanding of the conceptual basis of reality to judge free energy claims, which you seem not to possess. Non of that is directed as an insult - we are all ignorant of facts which are freely available, its a question of whether we attempt to cure ourselves of our ignorance or whether we embrace it as the truth. I chose to educate myself about science - ie the fundamental mechanics of the universe. As I said - I walked down that path of believing in the Conspiracy model of the world, then I woke up to reality. None of this says that I do not accept numerous conspiracies exist and effect our lives - its the bit where people speculate about how they are all one in the same and then attribute it to the Devil that I don't buy into. Almost all seeming conspiracies are easily accounted for as the natural outcome of a market based corporate structure - people looking after number one.
