Viral Posted April 19, 2011 #326 Share Posted April 19, 2011 The law that was recently created is the problem it can be changed Not the point. She purposefully broke the law. I wont get into whether I agree or not with the law but she still broke it. I can not agree with stealing being illegal and then get arrested for it, whether I'm doing what I see as right I'm still breaking the law. What bout the few days ago when such a law didnt exist and no one asked the women involved before making the law? Mainpoint Posted April 19, 2011 #328 Share Posted April 19, 2011 It's a good thing they have moderate temperatures because Canada, with it's bitterly cold winters, would be fining everyone.
Viral Posted April 19, 2011 #329 Share Posted April 19, 2011 What bout the few days ago when such a law didnt exist and no one asked the women involved before making the law? Then she wouldn't of been arrested... Is that not clear? Also, of course they weren't involved. It's a security risk not a 'do you want this or not?'. shadowhive Posted April 19, 2011 #330 Share Posted April 19, 2011 What bout the few days ago when such a law didnt exist and no one asked the women involved before making the law? The only way the woman would be questioned about a law is if it was up for a vote. That being said, if such a law had been put to a public vote and the public voted to enact the law, what then? It should be left to public protecting the minorities should be done by the government some government mandate representation of minorities in parliaments muslims are under represented in french politics they should be encouraged to participate that will only serve to get france better. It's a security risk not a 'do you want this or not?'. We have gone over this point before its not because it makes one stand out as women who do this are very few in number and very easy to track down. In sensitive places security wise if they have such guidelines its different they probably already do this law deal with public though.
