in the bible christ states that the chaff will be seperated from the wheat. the chaff is the stuff that wraps the grain. this meant seperating the good from the bad as in people.

today we use the chaff, we use it in bran products.

so the question is if we can keep the bad, cant god keep the bad. we dont keep the spoiled, if we can see it.

sorry i dont know the scripture but maybe one of you can link to it.,

It is possible the chaff is matter itself given that is the prison of our souls in the dimension.

Please look up The Gospel According to Mary Magdalene

"..will, then, matter be saved or not?"

The Savior said, "All natures, all formed things, all creatures exist in and with one another and will again be resolved into their own roots, because the nature of matter is dissolved into the roots of its nature alone. He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

This would suggest that the "bad" will dissolve into its own realm and the "good" arguably our pure being or soul will also dissolve and assimilate into it's own realm ie: the kingdom of heaven for the latter as opposed to (..??..) well, whatever you want to call alternative realms.

except that those who are resurected will retain their bodies. but this also just sounds like from dust you were brought and unto dust you will return.

I think you are confusing the chaff with the bran. Chaff is the hull or husk of a grain, which is inedible for humans (meaning we don’t use it in products). The bran is the tough outer layer covering the grain. This is edible.

Well, they will retain a body, their authentic body or light body some would say, not convinced the rapture is correctly understood

or interpreted in terms of the nature of the "body". The body could be our sense of self and individuality. There are passages where Jesus is putting on new robes and the 144,000 are given new robes too. The new robes could be the new vessels for their beings, alternative to the carbon matter body we live in on this earth.

Chaff meaning: The husks of grains and grasses that are separated during threshing.

Chaff in the Bible

Isaiah, chapter 5:24

Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Mathew 3:12

Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and 1gather his wheat into the garner; but he will 2burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Isaiah 33:11

Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.

Jeremiah 23:28

The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

Isaiah 17:13

The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

Hosea 13:3

Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.

Zephaniah 2:2

Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD's anger come upon you.

Here is an original thought. If oyu have ever harvested, threshed, winnowed, and bagged wheat by hand, you will undrstand perfectly why chaff was an anathema to agriculturalists like the jewish peole. It itches. It makes you sneeze and may even give you terible hay fever. It cuts and abrades. It makes your skin go red and blotchy.

Chaff is really horrible stuff to deal with, as well as being pretty well uselss.

It was often burned as the easiest/least painful way to dispose of it. And yet it accompanies/ is an integral part of, grain especially wheat (the staff and stuff of life) So it inevitably became a metaphor for humanity in terms of the good useful nutrional and healthy grain and the horrible usless itchy irritating chaff. :innocent:

I believe that the chaff means non-Jews, not just non believers.

except the bible keeps saying that god would bless the world throw the isrealites.
