Yours for £1m: A three-bedroom Aladdin’s cave

Recommended Posts

It's a property which may just be slightly too 'cluttered' for most house-hunters, and would need more than a little bit of a clean-out.

The three-bedroom semi-detached property which has just gone on the market in Kew, West London, is filled to bursting point with hanging bicycles, books and ornaments.

Every room of the 'Aladdin's Cave' style home is crammed with knick knacks and oddities - including a rickshaw, a giant whale bone and a penny farthing hanging from a wall.

The owner of the 'Kew Curiosity Cabinet', Mike Wildson, has been hoarding objects in the house for over half a century but has now decided to hand over the reins to someone new.

The asking price for the house and its entire contents, which is being sold through local estate agents Foxtons, is £949,949.

Mr Wilsdon, 67, said: 'I would be over the moon if someone were to buy it as a whole museum.
