there was massive march of support today in damascus

to support current president bashar

the supporters made a 2300 Meter syrian flag and carried it out

here's few pics of it

the only reason am showing these is that i doubt you'll be seeing

this on a media that has been one side in the situation in syria

both arabic media and western ones

That flag would have taken alot of co-ordinated manhours to make and even source the material, if there is a sting in the tail for the suggestion this is just a show of public support, it's where it always is - follow the money.

Not suggesting anyone is there unwillingly or under false pretenses just saying that is not just a big flag it is a very expensive flag aka: well made quality material flag and this was a very highly orchestrated and intricately planned event designed for maximum impact such as your usual level of public demonstration just cannot be shown to achieve, the AIDS quilt being the rare exception

It's because many Western media companies have better things to report on than flag waving. And I'm guessing that state media is behaving like state media.

only shows destructions and crimes .. and anti-goverment protests in syria

to make it look bad so it suits their progenda of work against it

since syria is the only goverment against the western influence in the area

well iran is pretty good in their stand too

which caused them really bad image cause usa doesn't like them

but again usa doesn't like any one who won't kneel down to their demands

i can respect what they do also beside there's agreement mutual defense between syria and iran which means any attack on eiather consider an attack on the other

and for what i prefer i said it before

i prefer to be under a an arabic syrian dictactorship rule

rather than democratic western puppet president

so yeah if it came to a choice i'll stick with my current goverment " if " i had to choose

between my goverment and the western power

so does think most of oppositions groups that protests .. they refuse any western interfernce

well why you think people protested ?

they don't just want some laws changed .. they want MANY laws

changed .. removed .. etc etc

the way i see it personally

i don't mind for the current preident to stay

as long he punish those responsable for killing or torturing people

beside many other things to be changed

so yeah .. after all i want the best for my country

i don't want it's destruction or the fall of goverment

and not am blinded by hatred toward my goverment to a level

that block my vision that if this goverment give what it takes

to reform the country .. then so be it

right now there's big march of support to the goverment in tartous

am bit too lazy right now to take pics and post them

but am just letting it known coz some media sources ignore those

marches of support regardless of their massaive number

and they focus on small protests .. it's unfair and unprofessional
