Saru Posted July 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2011 The last ever space shuttle launch is likely to be delayed due to rain and thunderstorms in Florida. The shuttle is due to blast off from the Kennedy Space Centre at around 16. 26 BST today. But with cloud, rain and thunderstorms forecast for Florida, the chances of it being postponed are put at 70%. If the start of the shuttle's final journey into orbit is postponed NASA will try again on Saturday or Sunday but may be forced to wait until July 16. Read more... The weather at the launch site is only part of the problem.
