Karlis Posted July 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Someone found this UFO in a photo of Cape; it seems to blend into the photo perfectly with the correct amount of lighting on it. I was not sure this was legit so I used Google Earth to find it myself. It was easy and fast…and it was there.Just because its clear, do not assume its fake.Digital cameras can see outside of the spectrum of the human eye catching colors and objects that you did not see there at the time of taking the photo. Of course they did not see it, yet the camera could. Read more... Google Earth captures UFO over South Africa

The Metal Posted July 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2011 (edited) you can't just claim "photoshop", this doesnt look immediately shopped to me, i dont have google earth so can someone validate that this UFO exists where the video says it does. I find it hard to believe that the person who posted the video faked the image, i find it hard to believe someone else would fake a UFO in cape town, africa..... This video is interesting *EDIT* saw the post on the news page, didnt show the attached thumbnail. What exactly about your image means its been photoshopped? Pookie666 Posted July 25, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Why does everyone automatically scream PHOTOSHOP? There are quite a few pictures out there of real UFO's (Unidentified Flying Objects), most taken in the USA, some from the UK and other European countries, even a few from Asia. What? Is South Africa too "back-water" or "wrong-side-of-the-tracks" for everyone to assume that we may or may not have UFO's?
juergen Posted July 25, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2011 sorry, i did some photoshop work on the image and tried to post it, (contrast, hue, saturation) the image looks a little odd, not sure why it didn't post. I'll try again

Finguz Posted July 25, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2011 (edited) lol cool. I dont know if its photoshop. WOuldnt it be hard to go through all that trouble? Nowhere near as hard as tramping around in a field in the middle of the night making a crop circle People do this sort of thing because they enjoy it, nothing is too much trouble! Looking at it though, I would say photoshop too Edited July 25, 2011 by Finguz
gldsktr Posted July 25, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 25, 2011 What was the excuse before Photoshop existed? When a picture is blurry, "It's too blurry." When it's clear, "It's too clear." It has to be faked, either way. Can anyone agree that SOME Saucer pictures are actually REAL?
Viracocha Posted July 25, 2011 #9 Share Posted July 25, 2011 I have checked it for myself and it really is on Google Earth. Really interesting.

AlienDan Posted July 25, 2011 #12 Share Posted July 25, 2011 (edited) Once again, another hoax. It's not made by google, it's made by some random guy named Vasiliy Nikitenko who apparently made it as a joke to get more traffic to his website. Another site it's on: http://www.360cities.net/image/good-hope-2#0.00,0.00,70.0 The fake: The original: Replicated in 10 minutes with photoshop: Where the UFO was copied from: http://thewatchers.adorraeli.com/2011/07/17/alien-spaceships-to-attack-earth-in-november/ Read these threads: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread729017/pg1 and http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread582429/pg1 Edited July 25, 2011 by AlienDan

Another site it's on: http://www.360cities.net/image/good-hope-2#0.00,0.00,70.0 The fake: The original: It was just copied, pasted, and slightly stretched verticaly. Where the UFO was copied from: http://thewatchers.adorraeli.com/2011/07/17/alien-spaceships-to-attack-earth-in-november/ Read these threads: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread729017/pg1 and http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread582429/pg1 So, let me get this straight. He hoaxed this image, and somehow made the image show up with everyone who uses google maps? The reason why i ask this, is people on this thread have stated they can see the object on google. Im not saying its real. I know it wouldn't be the first time that google have put stuff on maps.

The original site is this: http://www.360cities.net/image/good-hope-2#87.43,-7.50,110.0 and google maps is just linking to it, and able to show the panorama in google earth. I believe the relation to google earth and 360cities is automated and works according to coordinates but I'm not sure. It's just linked with the 360images website, doesnt mean somone put it on google earth on purpose. Edited July 25, 2011 by AlienDan
