World's biggest slipper? size 1,450

When it came to walking in the new custom-made slipper he bought off the internet, Tom Boddingham had to admit de-feet.

Why? Because there was a bit of a slip up with the 27-year-old's order...

Tom, from Ilford, East London, had tried to get a specially made slipper sent to fit his oversized foot.

Tom's right foot is a size 13, while his left is a size 14.5.

Yet when his latest order went through what came back was a monster size 1,450. The manufacturers in China had failed to spot a decimal point in his order.

Though I wish I had the cash for that, it'd be proof of a bigfoot.

I would have thought this would be obvious. Companies do factor in cost of materials and production when making a product. It's not uncommon for larger sizes in clothing to cost a little more. Scaling something up like that would incur a significant increase in price and prevent such an "accident" from ever possibly occurring.
