RedSquirrel Posted October 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2011 What surprises me is that at no time did anyone say "Hey, this is odd, let's ask him". Though I wish I had the cash for that, it'd be proof of a bigfoot.

BaneSilvermoon Posted October 23, 2011 #14 Share Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) Update - Monster slipper 'revealed as elaborate PR stunt' http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/8837736/Monster-slipper-revealed-as-elaborate-PR-stunt.html I would have thought this would be obvious. Companies do factor in cost of materials and production when making a product. It's not uncommon for larger sizes in clothing to cost a little more. Scaling something up like that would incur a significant increase in price and prevent such an "accident" from ever possibly occurring. Swadwa Posted October 25, 2011 #19 Share Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) Who can believe such a ridiculous story. Oh yeah, we're going to make that item and mail it to you at no extra cost. You all know the original story comes from a tabloid website. Just mark this one as not worthy of posting here!
