Space Commander Travis Posted October 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2011 is he acting on anyone's authority to say this, or is this just his own preferred solution? (Which seems to be the automatic first response to any international situation of anyone with (R.) after their name.)
questionmark Posted October 23, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2011 Makes sense, there will be available troops drawn from Iraq and Libya soon
conspiracybeliever Posted October 23, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 23, 2011 Ya we don't need any more on the unemployment line. As it is we're going to have to start building more jails and creating more criminals to hide the real numbers.

Corp Posted October 24, 2011 #9 Share Posted October 24, 2011 Given that McCain has zero role in creating American or NATO foreign policy this is just him voicing an opinion on something that I don't see happening. If NATO was to get involved in Syria it would be by Turkey.

Are you seriously blaming all warmongering souly on republicans?? Where have you been the last 2 years?? Key is to look past what democrats say, and take a closer look at what they do. Since 0bama started he not only continued wars with Iraq and Afgan, but has bombed places in Yeman, Pakistan, and led the charge in lybia. Not only this, but has sent out endless propaganda regarding Iran and Syria. Foriegn police never changes from one administration to the next. Suppose that he had decided the moment he came into office, to pull the plug on Iraq and Afghan; now wouldn't he have been nailed up to a tree by all and sundry for leaving them in the and cutting and running? I rarely feel sorry for politicians of any shade, but Presidents and Prime Ministers really can never do right by everyone. Same with Libya; people say that he doesn't get enough credit, and other people say that he "led the charge". And if he hadn't done anything, i bet you anything you like the same people would be attacking him for abandoning the people of Libya and letting genocide happen. They really are damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Corp Posted October 25, 2011 #13 Share Posted October 25, 2011 Very true. They want "something to be done" and then condemn any action that's taken.
