Her contract said she was not supposed to participate in political activities that she is involved with at her regular job. I do agree that this was a big stretch for NPR, but I'm sure someone got Legals OK before going forward. I think the evaluation that NPR is being forced to toe a more Conservative line is true. But, then why shouldn't they be forced to do what their financier want (Congress). If the Republicans can get NPRs funding reduced or eliminated, then shouldn't NPR buckle and move toward what the people that pay the bills want?
