Obama to China: Behave like "grown up"

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama served notice on Sunday that the United States was fed up with China's trade and currency practices as he turned up the heat on America's biggest economic rival.

"Enough's enough," Obama said bluntly at a closing news conference of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit where he scored a significant breakthrough in his push to create a pan-Pacific free trade zone and promote green technologies.

I thought this was interesting:

"China's currency rate is not a game of limbo, to see how low you can go," said Obama, addressing his guests from the beach front, a group of hula dancers on one side, and his favorite surfboard with the shark design on the other.

"But what is this, Pearl Harbor?" he shouted. "Let's dance!"

The band played "Wipe-Out" as the luau guests were treated to Mai Tais and a roast pig which had been fashioned to look like a Tibetan monk.

I thought this was interesting:

No taxation without representation? Irony? Or is it all just so horrible that all I have left to think to do is laugh? :w00t:
