Well, pttht, that's not good. Locally, the weather has not been normal since last late winter according to locals... I would hate to see what extreme weather would be like.

I don't have anything scientific or spooky to back it up... But man, it sure does feel like weather and earth events are spouting up more often and/or more dramatically.

They're basically saying their models have shown humans will have little to no impact on weather events in the next 30 years, and there have had little to no impact thus far.

Whether you put any faith in the long-term models(in support of either side of the argument) is another matter.

I'm not sure how far I believe in global warming... But I do believe in weather weirdness. I think of it sort of like this- Mother Nature is having some serious natural PMS, and humans are dinking with her way too much. Might not be catastrophic, but it likely will lead to some effed-upness.. Especially for humans, since we are worldwide and pay more attention to what's going on around us.

I'll bet these people who believe Global Warming is real probably all live in the south where as they get older they think the summers are getting warmer. They have probably never spent a winter in Alaska or Iceland or Norway. You experience that and you wont be thinking - boy it's warmer this year. You say **** it's cold!!!!

It is now a known fact that "all" the planets are apparently warming up...and we know this is not man made...but does that lessen the implications or the effects?...no...the fact that it is not man made does not lessen the potentially devastating effects on society and vast numbers of the world populations.

There are things going on climatologically that have no known precedence and the tag name is "climate change"...It does not matter if it is man made global warming...a solar maximum...the front end of a maunder minimum...cow farts or invading aliens....the point is...the weather patterns are shifting and you can deny it all you like, but it's a documented fact that there are unprecedented extremes going on all around us...

i am from the crappy state of arkansas in the FUBAR USA, where it recently went from summer to autumn in the space of one day (not kidding) and i have not noticed a bit of increase in temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed, cloud formation or anything. so it's probably nothing to worry about until 2 or 3 hundred years from now

I often wonder why been politically conservative and been a climate change denier are so inextricably linked. It seems that Conservatively minded people are very good at looking at evidence and deciding to prefer their own opinion over it. It applies to almost everything they approach.

Evidence? Are you talking about corrupted data? Models that ultimately have turned out wrong? Lab experiments that cannot recreate the desired effect of what they are trying to prove? All by "climatologists on the tax payers dole" Retired scientists who have nothing to gain or lose have stated otherwise.
