Report: Pentagon bill has 115 earmarks

WASHINGTON, December 11 (UPI) -- A congressional report says earmarks are alive and well in this year's U.S. defense authorization bill.

The study conducted by the office of Sen.Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., and obtained by The Washington Post tallied 115 spending proposals totaling $834 million.

Suddenly the Democrats grow a heart like the grinch and are concerned about spending. 500 million was lost on Solyndra and the DOE has authorized billions of dollars more worth of loans. They were about to authorize another 500 million just for Solyndra, that beats your 835 already. Add in whatever we've spent on the Chevy Volt too. For what? Scientists are starting to think the global warming threat is a scam anyway, yet still they talk about the kyoto protocols. Global warming is today's version of the WMDs that we will never find. I'd rather spend it on defense, at least we will get something that works and we will most likely need sooner or later.

So your going to rely on a liberal democrats obtained by a left wing news paper that claim that there might be 115 earmarks. what kind of report is this.

Its the seriousness of the charge that metters more then the substance, right?
