Persia Posted December 13, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2011 Neither the Democratic or Republican party is now held in particularly high esteem. So what about a third party? http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/story/2011-12-12/third-party-poll/51866458/
ninjadude Posted December 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) There already many political parties. The nature of "winner take all" and winning by 50% + 1 mean that there will naturally be two large political parties. "high esteem" has nothing to do with it. Sir Wearer of Hats Posted December 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2011 Only if the third party is the US arm of the Monster Raving Loony Party. With such grand platforms as "multicoloured wheelie bins", "air fresheners for trains", "training wheels for dogs" and "free Ice-Cream on every day that doesn't end with a "Y"".
