Deadly Diseases Creep Back

Again you are just wrong about the safety level because you are letting people deceive you. You should wonder why those sites are lying to you. Do you not see how these people are playing on parents fear to make money. If their premise was correct they would not need dishonesty to try and prove it. Yes, there is a lot at stake and those who do not vaccinate their children are playing a dangerous game with their lives.

Dr. Lieberman has been a consultant to Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, and Sanofi-Pasteur and is on the speakers' bureau for all three vaccine-makers, who have used, and currently use, thimerosal in their products. "We have been very concerned about Dr. Lieberman's conflicts of interest," commented Executive Director Rita Shreffler of NAA. Shreffler says that NAA requested that a counterpoint speaker without ties to drug companies be allowed to present current, peer-reviewed toxicological data and the request was denied. "To leave this presentation in the hands of those who have profited from, and continue to use thimerosal in some of their products is consistent with the CDC's history of concealing the consequences of injecting mercury into humans," said Shreffler.

You are the one letting people deceive you. People who want to inject children with known powerful toxins are playing a dangerous game with peoples lives. I find it amazing that otherwise perfectly intelligent people, cant understand how this is a risk not worth taking. Especialy considering they are perfectly capable of making vaccines without it.

I am a biologist, it is very difficult to deceive me about biology. I think it is sad that otherwise intelligent people who have less information than I do are being deceived by people out to make money and putting their children's lives at risk. You keep pulling out these dishonest websites that use 1/2 truths, statements taken out of context, and outright lies because they know most people have to pay for access to those journals and will believe what they say because they linked to a reputable journal.

Well seeing as we are no longer responding to actual points, I guess this conversation has run its course.

Well preach, we can only lead the horse to water so many times before he dies of thirst.

While most routine childhood vaccines are currently available in mercury- free or reduced mercury versions, the majority of flu shots still contain 25 micrograms of mercury, an amount considered unsafe under government agency guidelines for anyone weighing less than 550 lbs. The CDC now recommends flu shots for pregnant women and children ages six months through five years. "It's obvious this committee's ties to the drug companies are dictating what will come to light regarding the use of mercury in vaccines," said Claire Bothwell, NAA board chair. "When it comes to discussing thimerosal, it's hard to tell where the pharmaceutical industry leaves off and where the CDC begins. The blurring of these lines is not in the best

Yea these folks seem perfectly credible. No reason to think they might have a conflict of interest.

Not in the least of bits because once again they don't know what they're even talking about.

As part of the FDAMA review, FDA evaluated the amount of mercury an infant might receive in the form of ethylmercury from vaccines under the U.S. recommended childhood immunization schedule and compared these levels with existing guidelines for exposure to methylmercury, as there are no existing guidelines for ethylmercury, the metabolite of thimerosal.

They simply don't understand there are different kinds. It's like saying that crab apples are the same thing as honey crisp apples because they both have the word "apple" in their name. It simply isn't the case.
