Whenever I see this it reminds me too much of an elephant swimming with it's trunk up. Is there any more extended footage?

Well it's very blurry but certainly looks like an elephant. Thing is though it's too blurry to say 100% that it is an elephant. And there are huge areas of unexplored land so anything could be living out in the jungles. Also, a lot of folk lore and local legends are based on something.

Don't disagree with you, just gets annoying that all these folklore instances are NEVER accompanied by a decent photo or video.

I like to think I'm a believer - but need something to go on other than the basic folk lore.
