Alternative diagnosis

Podshell

Recommended Posts

Hi, New to here so hello!

I have visited spiritualist churches a few times in the past and been impressed by readings and some healing, now in the last four years or so I have been suffering with some illness that is effecting my nervous system, the doctors I have seen so far do not seem as concerned as I think they should be in getting to he source of my problems, can anyone recommend a way to get an accurate diagnosis of my condition? It doesn't neceassarily have to be spiritualist related.

Thanks.

Speak to a specialist like a neurologist perhaps or consult a chiropractor or an orthopedic specialist.

Don't look to wishy-washy, new agey stuff to treat real world issues.

Go to another doctor.

Yes indeed. Don't go looking for "alternative" until you have exhausted the conventional medicine route. You surely cannot be happy with a doctor that won't refer you on, at the very least I'd want an explanation from him for his refusal.

I will likely be going to another surgery , one problem with my doctors is the system , which means you just see whoever is available , so one of five plus stand ins, I have recently spoken to the practice manager after a struggle to get a simple complaint hrough, so I will see a doctor from this surgery one or two times more to see if speaking to the manager has had any effect, in my opinion it is to do with saving money, and I feel I am being sent in circles , I am in contact with PALS (patient advisory laiason) and an advocate also. It is just taking too much time, and too much extra detail to go into here, but idealy smaybe omeone knows of alternative diagnosis methods , as this will take forever if at all.

Patients looking up the internet for insight into their medical conditions are the bane of doctors, but I do it myself from time to time to get a bit of background. Don't know where you live, but here doctors don't typically spend more than 10-15 minutes on a consultation, so in-depth explanation is lacking. There are so many tests avilable today to aid diagnosis, you would be foolish not to exhaust the conventional medical route, albeit through a different medical practice if necessary.

I and others are having to look elswhere like the net because nothing seems to be happening, well less than anything , I am seeing them as an impediment at the moment
