Still Waters Posted March 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2012 If diamonds are a girl’s best friend and man’s best friend is the dog, then somewhere in that mix, dogs and diamonds meet.Enter the decadent array of collars available for wealthy pet owners who dote upon their dogs called La Collection de Bijoux. The collars are coated with precious jewels – mostly diamonds and sapphires –and range from $150,000 to a staggering $3.2million. Read more... Eldorado Posted March 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Pretty collars and all, but such a huge waste of money. Kinda obscene, ain't it? And sad.
Lilly Posted March 11, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2012 I defy any of these dogs to be able to tell the difference between a diamond and a cubic zirconia. Hell, want to really splurge on your dog, give him a nice chicken breast and then go and play with him for an hour. Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but they aren't a dog's. Lilly Posted March 11, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 11, 2012 (edited) And if you want to spoil your hubby or boyfriend... do likewise. Ok, I see no problem there (I'd even bake a pie). But, I need to make this clear...I'm in no way comparing men to dogs. After that "sexist trousers" thread I feel the need to say that publically. MissMelsWell Posted March 11, 2012 #7 Share Posted March 11, 2012 hahaha, that first dog dripping in diamonds looks just like my dog. LOL. But ya, no matter how much money I had, I wouldn't spend over $15 for a dog collar. Mine doesn't even want to wear any collar usually.
