Man sees broom defy gravity, stand on its own

When one Regina man’s broomstick stood straight up by the bristles for 45 minutes without any support this week, he felt there must be some advanced force at work.

“We were in shock when it actually stood there,” 76-year-old Leo Deis said.“I took a lot of physics and chemistry at one time in my life and this is new to me.”

Lately, it is actually a common phenomenon. People have gone to the Internet, posting pictures of their brooms standing with no support.

When I was a kid I was able to do this with one of my grandmothers brooms.

But I don't think this was due to any paranormal fact...I was just able to balance it so it would stand.

i did it to as a kid not possible with all models of broom , never imagine a kids game could become a story like this online. apparentlly internet is not making ppl smarter but beleive in anything. and also how did the broom got almost in the middle of the room (walking ) or they leave it lying around anywhere in the house waiting for it to stand .

Well that video was pretty terrible...

The broom could have easily been balancing on that angle.

The bristles were probably worn on a slight angle from sweeping in one direction more than the other, resulting in it being able to balance like that.

Now this video is all I'm referring to, I haven't looked at anything else on the subject and I doubt I will...

The bristles spread out over enough of the concrete that it balances the broom.

What if at the quantum level, this broom is entangled to another broom? There could have been someone else sweeping it's floor anywhere else in the universe and inevitably the entangled, lonely broom did the same.

Occam's razor - that is a WAY to complicated answer. The simple answer is that, it either had really, really good balance, which would be very rare but not impossible. I think it would be even more strange if this NEVER happened throughout humanity.

Also, it could be magnetism between the broom and floor.

Simple answers that it explain it like this.
