The Bay Area tradition was started in 2000 by Jon Brumit, riding down Lombard Street — often billed as the crookedest street — on a plastic big wheel. On the first Easter Sunday descent, Brumit was the lone big wheel rider with 13 onlookers. My link That looks like a blast! I love some of the facial expressions on the people's faces!
