BROOKLYN, Ohio (AP) — Police shot and killed an armed man at a crowded Cracker Barrel restaurant where a woman and a girl had been killed and another person was wounded, sending customers fleeing out the back door.

Whose turn is it to continue the ongoing debate about guns making people safer? Because I'm sure one of the pro-gun arguments is things like this wouldn't happen because the gunman wouldn't know how many of his potential victims were packnig heat.

I don't think individual cases can be grouped together to make this point. It is not as easy to collect the information on people who have not been attacked because they have guns. I'm for gun rights, but I'm also for a little more restrictions to who can own them.
