regeneratia Posted April 14, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2012 (edited) Yeah, I saw this. Sure makes you turn to the mineral makeup. Ya got lead in the lipstick and phthlates in makeup. Phthlates. Making plastics soft. BPA. Making plastics hard. The moral of the story is: GIVE UP PLASTICS, and use organic makeup. Well, I know that one of the best face masks is just grape seed oil, sugar and a bit of cocao. It's natural and doesn't cost you a tonne of money. We can't win.And you know dozens of animals were maimed and killed, while they tested it all, before putting it all on the market, but then the FDA said it was safe anyway. I've seen photos of the L'Oreal bunnies.........they are the biggest offenders I think.
karmakazi Posted April 16, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 16, 2012 (edited) Yet another study "linking" things together without proving any causality. It's just as likely people who have never worn makeup will get diabetes with all the other "potential causes" out there. Varelse Posted April 18, 2012 #7 Share Posted April 18, 2012 well, It does make women look fatter. the more they wear, that is. While we're at it might as well check the relationship between that "blow dried chile bowl" hair style i see on so many obese women who may or may not have diabetes. Wearing a lot of make up might also be from an insecurity. the kind fed with ben and jerry's seven nights a week.
