I really like it, we do it regularly. I think it might be what got me into archaeology. That probably sounds a bit strange I guess but it's all about followng clues in the landscape.

If you used GPS you'd prabably end up on the 9 o'clock news.... being rescued by Prince Andrew in his helicopter.

It's wandering around in the middle of nowhere all day and night, freezing cold and having no idea where you are or how to get back... :)
