US Olympic uniforms

jugoso

Recommended Posts

US athletes at the forthcoming London Olympics will wear stylish uniforms designed in the US - but made in China.

The outfits - which cost close to $2,000 (£1,300) - were designed by US label Ralph Lauren

Can´t even make this kinda sh** up!!

Does not surprise me one bit.....

How many of us ( Americans ) including myself, actually really look at what we buy, and make 100% sure it is American?

If even 50% of us did, the economy would turn around, but we don't....

I am ashamed of myself, and others.......As I type this on a computer keyboard made in ( looks underneath ) yup, made in China......

The congresscritters that are screaming 'shame on you for doing this' are the same ones that wrote the laws that made the jobs all go to China in the first damn place...

I pretty much don't care where the clothes were made... they are hideous looking...

Ugh, ugh, and ugh. Made in China, ugly uniform that does not look any different than other Ralph Lauren clothing, and way the eff too expensive- paying for the lame name. And it's not like the uniforms are something special for the athletes, any knob can hop on the Ralph site and order themselves up a uniform- if they can afford it.

When I see them, I somehow think I should also hear a hornpipe playing.

If they were made in America, they'd probably cost ten times more.

Remember, those sewing machine operators have to make $28 an hour full scale union wages, 6 weeks paid vacation, 4 weeks paid sick time, plus paid insurance.

THose things all add up.
