[Merged] Explain your Avatar picture thread

My avatar is an actual photograph of me when I was turning into a werewolf, one fine evening... There are two witnesses to attest my story - my pet wolf (seen in by my side) and the lovely naked lady looking at me (also in the pic, bottom left).

My avatar is a portion of an old music album that I've never owned or listened to. I just liked the picture.

Some avatars are just too painful to look at... Some are just plain silly...

Some are funny

The bf and I were at our favorite park and I realized I hadn't updated my FB photo in a while so I snapped a picture.

I was laying in the grass and he was chasing baby ducks out of the road and back into the water.

This might save you some time... ;)

But to get the ball rolling anyway, My avatar is Walrus Man (Ponda Baba), the guy in Star wars who had his arm cut of by Obi Wan in the Cantina scene. He was my favourite Star Wars figure as a kid, due to this he avoided being in the toy box when it was given away by my wicked step mother. He is still with me to this day...

My avatar changes a bit, but it always stay's based on Walrus Man, I think people on-line associate with avatars more until they are familiar with you character so I like to keep it consistent...

My new one was in response to some of our more rabid right wing loony members and their constant frothing at the gills over the EU, and snide ill informed digs about Socialism etc.

Thought I'd give them something to grind their teeth about.

I've merged the 2 threads as they were essentially the same and the older thread was barely a month and a half old.

I already explained my avatar in another thread:

naughty.jpg

And when I change it, it will always for a pic with a crow., but sometimes I use my own mug, lol.

Anyway, I am very much interested in corvids, as some will know. Check my profile: the link to my crow blog is there.

.

I really like my present avatar: it's from the Lisbon coat of arms:

Digitally drawn crow, I love birds. They look so free when they fly in the sky. I also like crows because of their color.

lol.. i dragged this all the way from page 1 (to see here, you've updated to a 'cosmic crow' ...good.. because i was going to ask what those stars inside the bird were all about.

i'm currently sporting Tony Clifton as mine.. if you know Tony, he's a vortex of negative energy dedicated to service of self... i figured while i'm slowly beating that kind of ideology OUT of myself, i may as well wear it proud for all to see.

the avatar before this was scruffy the janitor, reading a copy of "zero-G juggs" ...i even explained that to somebody in another thread (it was a prototype to the Tony Clifton, just sitting around indulging in sense-pleasure)

if the trend continues.. the next avatar will be something like jesus smoking a bong.

I change mine occasionally but try to keep it a view of water from land. Land's end.... That setting has always been very spiritual for me.
